The George L. Haas house sports atypical features when compared to the Alsatian homes found in this region. The home is gabled with three shed additions, one in the rear and two on either side that meet the rear shed at a hip. The entire roof is set with composition shingles. The home’s street facade has a centered double door with four windows total, two on either side. The two shed additions both front their respective windows on this facade.

This facade also reveals that the chimney sitting on the ridge of the gable is asymmetrical and sits between a door and window. The opening’s proportions and spacing do not resemble that of other Alsatian homes which could suggest later alterations. The side elevation that opens to the property’s yard features a porch and one of the shed additions.

The porch consists of wooden posts and a metal corrugated roof. It does not continue the slope of the shed addition and starts sloping below the addition’s roof. The porch also does not span the length of the side facade. Above this same facade, the gable peeks above the shed’s roof and hosts two rectangular windows. One is double hung and the other supports an air-conditioning unit. Another, larger, chimney emerges from this shed.

Underneath the porch, this facade wears two double-hung windows and a door that appears to be used as the front entryway. These openings are not centered or placed on the facade in the same manner as other Alsatian homes. It is of note that this home does not boast a front shed addition and that it has two perpendicular to the gable. The home also features rather simple expressions of openings.

The property also hosts a wooden structure that was likely the original home but now serves as a garage. More features include an accessory living unit, a water tower, windmill, bird bath and various sheds. The entire property is fenced.
